Breathe easier with Samsung’s New MAX Air Conditioner Range

Australia, 12 April 2010 – Helping consumers to breathe pure, clean air, Samsung Electronics Australia has launched its new premium range of high wall, split system air conditioners. With a four step filtration system, Samsung’s MAX range will let you breathe as freely in your home as you do outside.

The five new models in Samsung’s MAX range will reduce allergies in your home with Samsung’s unique four step filtration system. The first step in Samsung’s four step system involves the new silver, ion coated Anti-virus filter, which has been enhanced by 1.6 times to be stronger and more effective in removing dust compared to a conventional filter. The ultra-compact Anti-virus filter is made with thin filaments that are one third of the thickness of a single strand of human hair, helping to effectively reduce microscopic dust particles, as well as fungi and unpleasant odours.

The second step in Samsung’s filtration system helps neutralise captured bacteria and unpleasant odours through the use of Catechin, an extract from green tea which is built into the filters. The unique deodorising filter, which incorporates activated carbon, efficiently absorbs cigarette smoke, pet smells and other unpleasant odours. Finally, the Silver Coated evaporator reduces the amount of bacteria forming in the filters to further ensure your home is germ-free.

Not only will Samsung’s MAX Air Conditioners help you breathe easier, but the new range will also offer more energy efficient models, helping you to save money. Understanding that consumers are more focused on energy efficiency than ever, the whole range complies with every Australian state’s EER standard, with each model reaching a two star rating or higher under the new MEPS 2010 rating system.
